Belle Isle Residents,

The City of Belle Isle has seen an increase in door-to-door soliciting throughout the City. It is a violation of the Home Solicitation Sale and Chapter 20 of the City of Belle Isle Ordinances for any person to solicit in the City without first obtaining a solicitation permit. Only the City Manager has the authority to issue a solicitation permit in Belle Isle.

The City of Belle Isle recently adopted an ordinance that allows for the use of golf carts on certain city streets. Part of this ordinance defines “Golf Cart Communities” as subdivisions or communities within the city's corporate limits, and the Belle Isle City Council has authorized the operation of golf carts on designated streets within such subdivisions or communities.

Watering Days Know your Watering Days

The St. Johns River Water Management District’s watering restrictions are designed to ensure the efficient use of water for landscape irrigation. The restrictions allow enough water to maintain healthy landscapes year-round. The mandatory restrictions specify the time when watering may occur, the amount of water that may be applied, and the days when watering may occur for residential and non-residential locations. These days depend on whether the address ends in an odd or even number, and on the time of year.
