20-003 Crosswalk Enhancement - Hoffner Avenue

This project aims to improve the visibility of one existing crosswalk along Hoffner Avenue at the intersection with Monet Avenue.  This will be done by the installation of new signage with rectangular rapid flashing beacons as well as bringing the pavement markings up to current standards,  In order to replace the existing pavement markings milling and resurfacing may be required.  The milling length will be 50 feet longitudinally centered around the existing crosswalk.  The width will be as shown in the plans, which were designed to remove all conflicting pavement markings.  In addition, the installation of in-ground lights will be considered a bid alternative on this project.  For work in Hoffner Avenue, coordination must be made with Orang County.
