PUBLIC NOTICES OF THE CITY OF BELLE ISLE CANVASSING BOARD FOR THE MARCH 11, 2025, MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION

The CITY OF BELLE ISLE hereby advertises the following for the March 11, 2025, Municipal General Election. In accordance with the provisions of an act of assembly known as the Election Laws of the State of Florida, notice is hereby given that;

• The Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office will begin Vote-by-Mail voter certificate signature comparison on ballots received for March 11, 2025, CITY OF BELLE ISLE Municipal Election, starting on February 10, 2025, at 10 AM and ending at 5 PM. Signature comparison times may vary based on volume. Signature comparison on ballot materials, including cure affidavits, will continue each business day, up to and including Election Day, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, and will be conducted continuously until the first unofficial results are obtained. Interested parties may make a reservation at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections website at www.ocfelections.gov.
• Sealed Vote-by-Mail ballots received by the Orange County Supervisor of Elections prior to 8:00 AM Monday, February 10, 2025, for the CITY OF BELLE ISLE, March 11, 2025, Municipal Election will be available for Public Inspection from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida. At 9:00 AM, those ballots will be opened; however, not tabulated.   Tabulation of all vote-by-mail ballots will not begin until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Vote-by-mail ballots received after the initial opening at 9:00 AM will be opened soon after they are received and processed.
• Please be advised that Pursuant to [101.111(2)], “Any elector or poll watcher filing a frivolous challenge of any person’s right to vote commits a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083”
• Notice is hereby given that the voting equipment to be used in the City of Belle Isle Municipal Election at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office, 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida, and the Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the City of Belle Isle Chambers, 1600 Nela Avenue, Belle Isle, Florida will be available for testing and final inspection prior to being sealed at the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Warehouse, 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida, at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, February 27, 2025. All members of the public are encouraged to attend.
• The CITY OF BELLE ISLE Canvassing Board will conduct duplication of vote-by-mail ballots received for March 11, 2025, CITY OF BELLE ISLE Municipal Election that cannot be properly read by the voting system’s automatic tabulating equipment, pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 101 of the Election Laws of Florida, on Election Day, March 11, 2025 at 9:00 AM, continuously and until the first unofficial results are obtained.
• The CITY OF BELLE ISLE Canvassing Board will convene at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida, to certify the results of the March 11, 2025 Municipal Election and to conduct a manual audit of the tabulation of results ascertained from Vote-by-Mail and Election Day for the March 11, 2025 Municipal Election.
• In accordance with the Sunshine Law of Florida, all meetings will be open to the public.

Note: Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, states that if a person decides to appeal any decision by a board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at a meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if any person with a disability, as defined by the ADA, needs special accommodation to participate in this proceeding, then not later than two business days prior to the proceeding, he or she should contact the Supervisor of Elections Office at 407-836-2070.

AVISOS PÚBLICOS DE LA JUNTA DE ESCUTRINIO PARA LAS ELECCIONES MUNICIPALES DE LA CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE EL 11 DE MARZO DE 2025

La CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE por la presente anuncia lo siguiente para las Elecciones Municipales el 11 de marzo de 2025;

De acuerdo con las disposiciones de un acto de asamblea conocido como las Leyes Electorales del Estado de Florida, por la presente notifica que;

• La Oficina del Supervisor de Elecciones del Condado Orange comenzará la comparación de firma del certificado de votantes de papeletas recibidas por correo para la Elección Municipal de la CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE el 11 de marzo de 2025, a partir del 10 de febrero de 2025 a las 10 am y termina a las 5pm. El tiempo de comparación de firmas pueden variar según el volumen. La comparación de firmas en los materiales de papeleta, incluyendo declaraciones juradas, continuará todos los días hábiles, hasta el día de las Elecciones inclusive, el martes 11 de marzo de 2025 y se llevará a cabo de forma continua hasta que se obtenga los primeros resultados no oficiales. Las partes interesadas en solicitar acceso de revisión pueden registrarse en la pagina principal de la Oficina del Supervisor de Elecciones www.ocfelections.gov.
• Voto por correo sellados recibido por el Supervisor de Elecciones del Condado Orange antes de las 8 am el lunes 10 de febrero de 2025  para la Elección Municipal de la CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE, el 11 de febrero de 2025 estarán disponibles para inspección publica desde las 8 am hasta las 9 am el martes 11 de marzo de 2025 en la Oficina del Supervisor de Elecciones, 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida. A las 9 am se abrirán esas papeletas; sin embargo, no serán tabuladas. La tabulación de todos los votos por correo no comenzará hasta las 7 pm el martes 11 de marzo de 2025. Las papeletas de voto por correo recibidas después de la apertura inicial a las 9 am, se abrirán poco después de que se reciban y procesen.
• Tenga en cuenta que conforme con La Sección 101.11(2), “Cualquier elector u observador electoral que presente una impugnación frívola del derecho de voto de cualquier persona, comete un delito menor de primer grado, punible según lo dispuesto en 775.082 o 775.083”.
• El equipo de votación que será usada en la CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE Elecciones municipales en la Oficina del Supervisor de Elecciones del Condado de Orange en el 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida, y las Elecciones Municipales que se celebrará el martes, 11 de marzo de 2025, en el CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE sala de Ayuntamiento localizado en 1600 Nela Avenue, Belle Isle FL 32809 estará disponible para la prueba y la inspección final antes de ser sellado en el Almacén de Supervisor de Elecciones del Condado de Orange en el 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida, a las 10:00 a.m., el jueves, 27 de febrero de 2025.  Los candidatos o sus representantes (con autorización escrita del candidato), podrán probar las máquinas de acuerdo con el Estatuto de la Florida 101.5612, en ese momento.
• La Junta de Escrutinio de la CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE llevará a cabo la duplicación de las papeletas de votación por correo recibidas para la Elección Municipal de la CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE el 11 de marzo de 2025, que no puedan ser leídas correctamente por el equipo de tabulación del sistema de votación, conforme con los requisitos del Capítulo 101 de las Leyes Electorales de Florida, el 11 de marzo de 2025 a la 9 am, de manera continua y hasta que se obtengan los primeros resultados no oficiales.
• La Junta de Escrutinio de la CUIDAD DE BELLE ISLE se reunirá a las 10 am el viernes 14 de marzo de 2025 en la Oficina del Supervisor de Elecciones, 119 West Kaley Street, Orlando, Florida, para realizar una auditoría manual de la tabulación de los resultados obtenidos de voto por correo, votación temprana, y el día de las elecciones, 11 de marzo de 2025 y certificar los resultados de la Elección Municipal del 11 de marzo de 2025.
• De acuerdo con la Ley Sunshine de Florida, todas las reuniones estarán abiertas al público.

Nota: La Sección 286.0105 de los Estatutos de Florida establece que si una persona decide apelar cualquier decisión de una junta, agencia o comisión con respecto a cualquier asunto considerado en una reunión o audiencia, necesitará un registro de los procedimientos y que, para tal fin, puede necesitar asegurarse de que se haga un registro palabra por palabra de los procedimientos, cuyo registro incluya el testimonio y las pruebas en las que se basará la apelación.

De acuerdo con la Ley de Estadounidenses con Discapacidades (ADA), si alguna persona con una discapacidad, según lo define la ADA, necesita adaptaciones especiales para participar en este procedimiento, a más tardar dos días hábiles antes del procedimiento, debe comunicarse con la Oficina del Supervisor de Elecciones al 407-836-2070.
