Hurricane Ian Updates
BOAT RAMPS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE - Public Boat ramps under the control of Orange County and Belle Isle are currently closed. Many docks have broken up and are submerged, creating severe hazards. As a result, the City has an emergency order in place; until further notice, there is a "No Wake, Idle Speed" restriction within 500 feet of the shoreline. We are also asking all boaters, including those with personal watercraft (jet skis), to refrain from using the lake so we can clear the debris safely. If you live in the City of Belle Isle on the lake, have damage, and need to remove your boat, please call 407-505-9347 for assistance (Fri, Sept, Sat, Oct 1 & Sun, Oct 2). This is for Boat removal only. Please remember, do not touch debris blocking a drainage structure, storm drain, or retention pond. Your cooperation for this weekend is greatly appreciated. Please refrain from any recreational activity in the waters and refrain from any contact with water bodies until further notice.
